Jess is completing her Oregon psilocybin facilitator licensure and has spent months inside Ayeterra’s group sessions, supporting clients alongside the team’s licensed facilitators. She came to this work through her own experience with psilocybin, and she loves two things above most others: being outside, and walking beside people on their path. She also runs Ayeterra’s outreach in California and Vancouver, Washington. Until her license is issued she supports sessions; she does not lead them.

Where Jess is right now

  • Training complete through a program with a curriculum approved by Oregon Psilocybin Services
  • Practicum hours done, with a focus on group sessions
  • License application in progress; this page will say so the day it is issued
  • Outreach for California and Vancouver, Washington
Experience

What the group work has taught her

  • Reading a room of six to eight people moving through very different experiences at once
  • Knowing when someone needs a word, when they need a hand, and when they need to be left alone
  • The unglamorous parts: water, blankets, the door, the clock, the ride home
  • That a group session is still each person’s own session, and the facilitator’s job is to protect that

Why Jess does this work

Because it changed her life, and she is careful about how she says that. There was a stretch of years when Jess describes herself as surviving rather than living, and isolated while she did it. Psilocybin, and the slower work she did around it afterward, is a big part of why that is not where she is today. She does not call it a cure and does not promise it will do for anyone else what it did for her. She does say it opened a door she then had to walk through, and that the walking is the part she wants to help other people with.

That is where the group work fits. Jess is at her best beside someone, not in front of them: noticing, steadying, staying. Outside of sessions she is happiest outdoors, and a lot of what she brings into the room comes from there, a sense that things grow in their own time and that people do too.

What working with Jess looks like

Today, Jess is one of the people in the room at group sessions, working alongside a licensed facilitator who leads it. If you are coming from California or southwest Washington, she is also likely the first person you will talk to.

Now

If you are in a group session

  • A licensed Ayeterra facilitator leads the session and holds the legal responsibility for it
  • Jess supports the room: a steady presence, practical help, another set of eyes
  • The same screening, preparation, and integration as every Ayeterra format

Outreach

If you are outside Oregon

  • Jess explains how Oregon’s program works for visitors: no residency requirement, sessions only at licensed centers in Oregon
  • Helps you plan the trip so preparation and the session fit together
  • Psilocybin services happen only in Oregon; nothing is offered in California or Washington

Book a free consultation

When the license is issued, this page will say so, and Jess will begin facilitating sessions of her own with the same standard as the rest of the team: preparation beyond Oregon’s one required session, integration in every price, and a straight answer on fit.

Ayeterra provides legal psilocybin facilitation in Oregon through facilitators licensed by the State of Oregon, under Oregon’s regulated psilocybin program. These services are not medical care, psychotherapy, or a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a licensed medical or mental health professional, and anything we share is general education, not medical advice. Psilocybin is not right for everyone: participation is limited to adults 21 and over and involves screening. We do not promise specific outcomes, and experiences vary. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988. Psilocybin services are not a substitute for crisis care or treatment.
