Group Sessions
Group Psilocybin Therapy in Oregon: Small-Group Sessions
A full-dose session in a small group, capped at eight, with licensed facilitators. From $750 per person with the psilocybin, preparation, and integration included.
A group psilocybin session with Ayeterra is a full-dose session (up to 35 mg) in a small group at a licensed Oregon service center, with licensed facilitators present throughout. Groups are capped at eight and are usually six. Each person has their own experience, with connection built in around it. It costs from $750 per person, psilocybin included, and is the most affordable way to have a full session with real preparation and integration behind it. The group is the benefit, not a discount.

How does a group psilocybin session work?
Oregon’s rules allow group administration sessions with specific protections, and Ayeterra adds a few of its own.
- Written consent to a group session in preparation, and a chance to meet the other participants and facilitators beforehand (OAR 333-333-5000 and 5020)
- Your own preparation, private, with your facilitator, plus a group preparation gathering before the day
- Capped at eight, usually six. Oregon sets a facilitator-to-client ratio by dose; Ayeterra keeps groups smaller than the rule requires
- Eyeshades and music, each person on their own mat; the room is shared, the journey is not
- Moments of connection built in before and after, never forced during
- Integration together and one-on-one, included
Some groups run as men’s or women’s groups, and the low-dose groups always do. Say what you need on the consultation; who is in the room with you is a reasonable thing to care about.
Who is a group session for?
A good fit if
- You want a full-dose session and cost matters
- You find a few other people doing the same thing steadying rather than distracting
- You are drawn to the shared preparation and integration
- You have done a low-dose group and want to go further
Consider a one-on-one if
- You want a private room and a facilitator’s full attention
- You want the 35 to 50 mg range
- You are carrying something you would rather not share a room with
Not sure? Many people start with a low-dose group, from $75, and decide from there.
How low-dose sessions work →What is the day like?
- Check-in, a short circle with the group and facilitators, last questions
- Each person settles on their own mat with eyeshades and headphones or shared music
- Everyone takes their dose within the same window; onset in 20 to 60 minutes
- Facilitators move quietly through the room; a hand or a word only where consented and needed
- Five hours minimum for a full dose; the room stays quiet
- A closing circle for anyone who wants to speak; no one has to
- Rides home; the 72-hour check-in and an integration session follow
What does a group session cost?
- From $750 per person, psilocybin included up to 35 mg
- Preparation beyond the state minimum, the room, and integration all included
- Compare: a private one-on-one is from $2,000 plus medicine
Price should never be the reason someone does not have a session. Sliding-scale access is real and handled on the consultation, with no forms and no proof of hardship.
Every price includes preparation beyond Oregon’s one required session, the session room, and integration support.

Will I have to talk in front of the group?
No. There is a circle before and after, and you can pass. During the session the room is quiet by design.
What if someone else has a hard time?
Facilitators are there for that, and groups are small enough that one person’s difficult hour does not take a facilitator away from everyone else. Preparation covers what you will notice and how to stay with your own experience.
How many facilitators are there?
Oregon sets a minimum ratio by dose. Ayeterra runs groups of six to eight with facilitators enough that no one waits.
Can I come with a friend or partner?
Yes, and many people do. Each of you goes through your own screening and preparation, and you will be on your own mats on the day.
Is a group session near me available outside Portland?
Group and low-dose formats are Portland-only for now; one-on-ones run in Portland and Ashland. This page will say so when that changes.
Is the dose lower in a group?
The cap is 35 mg rather than 50, and each person’s dose is planned individually within that in preparation.
