A one-on-one psilocybin session with Ayeterra, what most people search for as psilocybin-assisted therapy, is a private, full-dose session (20 to 50 mg) with a licensed facilitator who is yours from the first preparation meeting through integration. It costs from $2,000 plus the psilocybin, typically $2,100 to $2,300 all-in, at a licensed service center in Portland or Ashland. The room, preparation beyond Oregon’s one required session, and integration support are all in the price.

Who is a one-on-one session for?

Private

A good fit if

  • You want privacy and a facilitator’s full attention
  • You are carrying something specific and want the dose and the day shaped around it
  • You want the deepest available dose range, set with your facilitator
  • You are coming with a therapist’s involvement and want coordination
Alternatives

Consider another format if

  • You would find a few other people steadying: the group session, from $750
  • You want a gentler first step: the low-dose introduction, from $75
  • You are traveling in and want the days held too: a retreat, from $3,000

Not sure which format fits? The consultation is where we work that out together.

What do you get?

Included in every one-on-one

  1. A free consultation and honest screening under Oregon’s rules, including a straight “not yet” if that is the answer.
  2. Preparation with your facilitator, more than the one session Oregon requires: consent, your dose plan, intentions, practices, and direct email or text between now and the day.
  3. The session in a private room at a licensed service center, your facilitator present the entire time, and lab-tested psilocybin from an Oregon-licensed producer.
  4. A check-in within 72 hours and an integration session, and with your consent, coordination with a therapist you already see.

What is the session like?

Quiet. A private room, eyeshades and music if you want them, a comfortable place to lie down, and one person whose only job is you.

  • Dose: 20 to 50 mg, planned together in preparation, within Oregon’s 50 mg cap. Most first full sessions land around 25 to 35 mg
  • Length: at least four hours for 10 to 25 mg, five for 25 to 35, six for 35 to 50 (OAR 333-333-5250); most people stay a little longer
  • Your facilitator stays present and non-directive: watching, listening, a steady voice or a hand only if you consented to it
  • A second dose is possible if you consented in preparation and bought it before the first; decided together on the day
  • Coming back: the last hour or two is quiet, and your ride takes you home when your facilitator agrees you are ready

What does a one-on-one session cost?

  • From $2,000, plus the psilocybin at the service center’s rate ($5 per milligram plus Oregon’s 15 percent tax): about $115 for 20 mg, $201 for 35 mg, $288 for 50 mg
  • Typical all-in: $2,100 to $2,300, confirmed in writing after the consultation, before you pay anything
  • Includes the room, preparation beyond the state minimum, and integration; nothing added later

Price should never be the reason someone does not have a session. Sliding-scale access is real and handled on the consultation, with no forms and no proof of hardship.

Every price includes preparation beyond Oregon’s one required session, the session room, and integration support.

One-on-one questions

How is a one-on-one different from a group session?

Privacy, dose range, and attention. A one-on-one is a private room, doses up to 50 mg, and a facilitator whose whole day is you. A group session is up to 35 mg in a small room with others, each on their own journey, and costs about a third as much. Neither is better; they suit different people.

Is this the same as psilocybin-assisted therapy?

It is what people mean by the term. Legally, Oregon’s program is supervised adult use with a licensed facilitator, not psychotherapy, and the facilitator does not diagnose or treat. The structure is the one the clinical trials used: preparation, a supervised full-dose session, and integration. Many people do it alongside their own therapist, and with your consent Ayeterra coordinates.

Can I choose my facilitator?

Yes. You are matched after the consultation and can ask for someone specific from the team page. You meet your facilitator before preparation begins, and if it does not feel right, say so.

How many preparation sessions are there?

More than the one Oregon requires, and as many as you need at no extra charge. Someone new to this, or carrying a lot, gets more.

Where does it happen?

At a licensed service center in Portland or Ashland. Ashland one-on-ones are with Patrick, Michelle, or Aaron.

Can I bring someone?

A client support person is allowed under Oregon’s rules and sometimes required by your screening answers. Talk it through in preparation.

Is a one-on-one session near me available if I am not in Portland?

Ayeterra’s facilitators work at licensed centers in Portland and Ashland, and several serve clients from Hood River and Eugene. Preparation can be scheduled around travel; the session itself is at the center.
